On mobile and looking for help docs on specific TablelistPro features? Tap the three lines in the top-right corner.
New to TablelistPro? You're in the right place. Run through this checklist to get your account set up and ready to go.
1. Download the TablelistPro Mobile App
The app is free on both iOS and Android. We recommend iOS devices since TablelistPro is optimized for that platform.
- Download TablelistPro on the App Store
- Download TablelistPro on Google Play
2. Order Hardware
If you need hardware, here's what we suggest:
- Apple iPads
- iPad Stands
- Apple iPhones (so staff don't have to share iPads)
3. Send Us Your Floor Plan
If your venue takes table reservations, email your floor plan in JPG or PNG format to your account rep. Make sure all table numbers are clearly marked so we know which tables to add and where. You can always update this later.
Once the floor plan is uploaded, check out the setup on this page:
- Log in to TablelistPro
- Open the sidebar
- Select Venue
- Click Floorplans
This is the backend setup view of your floor plan. To see the live version, tap Venue Map in the app or click Map on this page.
4. Update Your Settings
Before you start selling tickets or tables, make sure all your settings are filled out. We strongly recommend completing every field, including:
- Venue information
- Branding, logo, primary color, and venue photos
- Settings for reservations, inventory, events, chit receipts, checkout, etc.
To update your settings:
- Log in to TablelistPro
- Open the sidebar
- Select Venue
- Fill in the blanks on the Info, Branding, and Settings tabs
Here's an example Reservation Note -- the more detail, the better:
- Thank you for booking with us! Here are a few details to help you understand and enjoy your reservation.
- Check-In: Reservation party host must check in by 12am. Failure to do so will result in reservation being released without refund. Credit card used at purchase must be presented, along with matching valid photo ID, by the card holder upon entry. If any of the card holder, credit card, or matching valid photo ID are not present, entry will not be allowed. All bags are subject to inspections by security. No outside food or beverages are permitted.
- Beverage Minimums: Each reservation is subject to a beverage minimum dependent on date and time. This is the total amount you need to spend before 8% tax and 20% gratuity. Failure to meet the beverage minimum will result in a charge to reach that minimum before tax and 20% gratuity.
- Cancellations/No Shows: All sales are final. A refund will only be issued if the reservation is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time. Processing fees are non-refundable under all circumstances. Seeking a chargeback for sales to this event may result in ticket cancellation and refusal to honor future pending sales from the credit card the chargeback was initiated on.
- Venue Policies: Venue reserves the right, including without limitation, to cancel, suspend, or modify the event, reservation or ticket at its sole discretion. Venue reserves the right to refuse entry to guests for any reason, including but not limited to: underage patrons, visible intoxication, client presents a danger to himself or herself, or failure to adhere to dress code. Management, at its sole discretion, may assess an additional cleaning fee in the minimum amount of $150 or more for any damage that may occur to any furnishings, surfaces or flooring within the venue caused by bio-hazards or other, which may require more than routine cleaning.
- Parking: Parking is available at [area]. We currently do not offer valet parking services and do not validate parking for [the garage].
- Any disregard or violation of the above terms and conditions will automatically void reservation(s)/ticket(s) purchased and all costs incurred by guest will be non-refundable.
- For any further questions or concerns, email [Name] at [email] or call [phone number].
Here's an example of Terms & Conditions -- again, the more detail, the better:
- PURCHASE CONDITIONS · All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges or cancellations are permitted. · Processing fees are non-refundable under all circumstances. · Credit card used at purchase must be presented, along with matching valid photo ID, by the card holder upon entry. If any of the card holder, credit card, or matching valid photo ID are not present, entry will not be allowed. · All guests must arrive together. Additional party members will not be allowed to check-in on behalf of the cardholder. · All guests must be 21 years of age or older with a valid ID. · Guests must adhere to the dress code. · Management reserves all rights.
5. Add Your Employees to TablelistPro
You get unlimited accounts, so every staff member should have their own login.
To add a staff member:
- Log in to TablelistPro
- Open the sidebar
- Select Organization
- On the Staff tab, click the purple plus sign, then fill in the staff member's name, email, and phone number
- Navigate to the Permissions tab to set their permissions
- If you operate multiple venues, you'll need to set permissions for each one
- Head to the Notifications tab to customize their email, text, and push notifications
- Click Save -- they'll get an email to set their password
- If the link expires before they set it, they can reset it here
- Repeat for all promoters by clicking the Promoters tab
Sharing accounts is a no-go for security and tracking purposes. For more on adding staff, check out this page.
You control exactly who sees what on TablelistPro. More on permissions here.
You and your staff can get notified via email, text, and push when a reservation is requested, a booking is made, a payment link is completed, a customer checks in, and more. Details on notifications here.
6. Send Inventory Information and Create Events
When setting up your account, we always add VIP table and/or ticket inventory on your behalf to avoid mistakes. When you're ready, contact your sales rep to get this rolling.
Since inventory is separate from events, you can create events in TablelistPro anytime.
7. Select and Embed Your Website Widget
Check out all our instant booking widgets and installation instructions here.
- Inventory Map -- shows available ticket and/or table inventory with an interactive map so guests can pick their exact table or section
- Inventory List -- the same inventory list, without the map
- Reservation Request Form -- lets guests submit a reservation request that you'll manually approve or deny in your Leads tab
- Guest List Form -- lets guests add themselves to the guest list (though we recommend using $0 tickets in your inventory instead)
- Event List -- displays your upcoming events vertically
- Event Calendar -- shows your events by month
- Event Carousel -- displays upcoming events horizontally with left/right arrows
- Event Grid -- shows three rows and columns of events (nine total) with the option to view more
To use any event widget, you'll need to add events and make them public in TablelistPro so they show up on the widget.
