Choosing Payment Types

When adding inventory, you can choose the Payment Type for your customers:

  • Prepaid Full: Customer pays the full amount upfront, including tax and service charge
  • Prepaid Deposit: Customer pays a portion upfront (the deposit), without tax or service charge. The remaining balance plus tax and service charge is collected at your venue
  • Authorization: Customer doesn't pay upfront, but must provide a credit card to verify it's valid. The full balance plus tax and service charge is collected at your venue
  • No Payment: Customer doesn't pay upfront and doesn't need to provide a credit card. The full balance plus tax and service charge is collected at your venue

Even if you're not taking advance payments, we recommend using Authorization to make sure your customer has a valid card.
